Terms and conditions
Last updated 25 August 2026
These terms govern your use of Optocore, software provided by Spectrum Enterprises (“we”, “us”), a sole proprietorship of Mrs. Shaila Bhavsar, registered at Flat No. 1201, J Wing, ParkSyde Homes, Near Bali Mandir, Hanuman Nagar, Panchavati, Nashik, Maharashtra 422003, India, GSTIN 27BDXPB5801K2Z7. Optocore is a product of Spectrum Enterprises; the contract for the Service is with Spectrum Enterprises.
By creating an account, starting a trial, or paying a subscription you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
1. What the Service is
Optocore is a subscription software service for optical retail businesses: billing and point of sale, stock, prescriptions, lens-job tracking, purchases, accounts, GST working and customer messaging. It is delivered over the internet as software as a service. No physical goods are supplied.
2. Your account
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the business details you register, and for keeping them current.
- You are responsible for your staff logins and for what is done under them. Tell us at once if you believe a login has been compromised.
- Each subscription covers one business. The number of stores and users included is stated on the pricing page.
3. Your data belongs to you
The records you enter — your customers, prescriptions, stock, bills and accounts — remain yours. We process them to provide the Service and for no other purpose. We do not sell them, and we do not use one customer's business data to serve another.
You can export your data at any time from within the Service, in a standard format, without asking us. See the privacy policy for how it is handled.
4. What we ask of you
- Use the Service lawfully, and only for your own optical retail business.
- Send customer messages only to people who have a genuine relationship with your shop, and comply with WhatsApp's and Meta's policies. Messaging access can be withdrawn by Meta, not by us.
- Do not attempt to access another business's data, probe the Service for weaknesses, or resell access without a written agreement.
5. Fees
Fees are as published on the pricing page, in Indian Rupees, exclusive of GST which is charged at the applicable rate. Payment is collected through Razorpay. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled.
WhatsApp message charges are levied by Meta on their rate card and passed through at cost. They are not part of the subscription fee.
We may change prices with at least thirty (30) days' notice by email. A change never applies to a period you have already paid for.
6. Availability
We aim to keep the Service available at all times and will give notice of planned maintenance where we reasonably can. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we are not liable for interruptions caused by your internet connection, your device, or third-party services including Meta, WhatsApp and Razorpay.
7. GST and compliance
The Service helps you prepare GST records and returns. It is a tool, not tax advice, and it does not file on your behalf. You remain responsible for the correctness of what you file and for your own compliance. We recommend your accountant reviews your returns.
8. Suspension and termination
- You may cancel at any time — see the cancellation and refunds policy.
- We may suspend an account for non-payment, or for use that breaches these terms or puts other customers at risk. Where the reason allows it, we will contact you first.
- After cancellation your data remains available to export for ninety (90) days, then it is deleted.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law. Subject to that, our total liability in connection with the Service in any twelve-month period is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in that period. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, or indirect loss.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email at least thirty (30) days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Nashik, Maharashtra, India have exclusive jurisdiction.
